The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tamisen misses with a takedown attempt
and Tamisen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Venom fails to land the takedown.
Tamisen clinches.
Tamisen prevents Venom from breaking the clinch.
Tamisen has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Venom is trying to keep an underhook but Tamisen manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Venom looks like he's trying to stand up.
Tamisen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Venom keeps working.
Tamisen is really struggling to control Venom but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Tamisen wants to work for an arm triangle but Venom is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Tamisen wants to control but Venom is keeping him busy.
Tamisen stops Venom from getting back to his feet.
Venom is pressing down on Tamisen's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Tamisen postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Tamisen is sitting in close to Venom's body. Venom has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Tamisen is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Tamisen is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Venom.
