Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clark Gerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Captain Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gerra comes to the cage accompanied by Queen - Another One Bites The Dust. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Captain Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerra fails with the takedown
and Murphy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Murphy misses with a double jab
and Gerra counters with a shoot takedown. Murphy fights it but they end up in guard.
Gerra postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Murphy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gerra, into his guard.
Murphy thows a big elbow that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Murphy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Murphy throwing strikes from guard but Gerra blocks nicely.
Gerra escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Murphy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Murphy is pushing down on Gerra's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gerra is fighting to maintain full guard but Murphy has managed to sneak the leg through.
Murphy throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Gerra is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Gerra wants to control but Murphy is keeping busy.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Murphy landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Murphy has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Gerra defend it? Murphy steps over the head and cranks it - Gerra is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Murphy!
