The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zombie throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bosley sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bosley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zombie paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Bosley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A left and a right from Zombie both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Arnold Bosley has been cut.
Zombie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bosley as he avoids it easily.

and Zombie counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Zombie.

Bosley could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bosley wants to sweep here but Zombie controlling him for the moment.
Zombie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bosley swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Zombie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bosley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Arnold Bosley wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Bosley swings for the body but Zombie moves out of range.

Zombie shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bosley is trying to defend but Zombie finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bosley wants to control but Zombie is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Still in half guard, Zombie seems content to control.
Bosley has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Zombie is working away from the top position though.

Zombie looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Zombie takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zombie throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Zombie is taking a breather. Bosley says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Zombie is nestled in close to Bosley, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Zombie lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Zombie is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Zombie wants to free his trapped foot but Bosley is holding on for dear life with his legs.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bosley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zombie but Zombie pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Zombie throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Zombie counters with a straight right hand.
Zombie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ghetto Zombie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Zombie, as that shot connected.
Zombie throws a series of punches but Bosley moves out of range.
Bosley tries to clinch there but Zombie circles away.
Bosley fails with the takedown
and Zombie counters with a nice body shot.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arnold Bosley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
