Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Haapalainen is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Jones gets the takedown into side control.
Jones in side control, throwing shots but Haapalainen defends.
Haapalainen avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jones.
Jones with the ground and pound but Haapalainen regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Jones is looking for a kimura but Haapalainen is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jones to get the leverage.
Jones gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Haapalainen throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jones tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Haapalainen is in Jones's guard.
Haapalainen stops Jones from standing up.
Jones scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Haapalainen throws a head kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Haapalainen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Haapalainen drives through and clinches with Jones against the ropes.
Jones is trying to break free.
Haapalainen decides to pull guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Haapalainen holds on and takes a little breather.
Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Haapalainen is keeping the position for now.
Jones thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Jones drops back looking for a leg! Haapalainen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Haapalainen manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Haapalainen's guard.
Haapalainen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Haapalainen throws up his legs and catches Jones in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Jones tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Haapalainen! That came out of nowhere!
