The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phoenix fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Webb manages to avoid it.
Phoenix misses with a few strikes there.
Phoenix misses with a two punch combination.
Simon Phoenix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Phoenix lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Webb circles away quickly and effectively.
Webb slips under a jab.
Phoenix misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Webb on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Webb closes the distance and pushes Phoenix back into the cage.
Phoenix tries to break free but Webb pushes him back against the cage.

Webb takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Phoenix fails with an attempt to clinch.
Phoenix ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Webb moves away.
Phoenix throws a head kick but Webb moves out of range.

Webb slows the pace down.
Webb landing strikes.

Webb prevents Phoenix from escaping the position.
Webb remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Webb bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Webb looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Phoenix is avoiding damage well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Webb is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Webb in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Webb works to advance to full mount. Phoenix defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Webb takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Charles Webb overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Phoenix is trying to escape the mount but Webb keeps good control and instead manages to take Phoenix's back.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Webb patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Webb just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Webb, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
