A fine choice. Azz Fixiation has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Beast Mode's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fixiation shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Fixiation closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mode did well to prevent Fixiation getting side control.

Fixiation is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mode sees it coming and defends easily.

Fixiation seems to be working for a kimura but Mode defends the submission attempt.

Mode looking for submissions off his back.

Mode looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Fixiation looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Mode is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fixiation's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fixiation's back!
Mode doesn't have the hooks in and Fixiation manages to turn into his guard.

Mode is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Fixiation stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mode swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fixiation is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Mode is looking for a triangle but Fixiation pushes his legs off easily.

Fixiation drops back looking for a leg! Mode is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mode manages to kick Fixiation off! Fixiation jumps back into Mode's guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Mode is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fixiation is aware though and is defending well.

Mode had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fixiation defends it easily.

Fixiation got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mode has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fixiation has managed to get both his arms back between Mode's legs - danger averted.
Fixiation should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Fixiation is posturing up here but Mode has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Fixiation tries to roll out but it's too tight and Fixiation has to tap! Slick submission there by Mode!
