The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowie fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dutra pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Bowie tries to close the distance and clinch but Dutra swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
David Bowie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dutra looks to throw the jab but Bowie is out of range.
Dutra swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

enabling Bowie to counter with a crisp jab.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dutra accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
