The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fauatea falls off balance throwing a combination
and Arsch counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Arsch is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fauatea sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Arsch shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fauatea but Fauatea pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Fauatea counters with a crisp one two that drops Arsch! Fauatea thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Arsch to his feet! Arsch is in big trouble!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Arsch avoids a punch combination nicely.

Arsch closes the distance and clinches.

Fauatea breaks from the clinch.
Fauatea misses with a looping left.

and Arsch holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Arsch jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fauatea walks away with a smile on his face. Arsch gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Eloni Fauatea has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Im Arsch.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Arsch.
Arsch uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fauatea.
Fauatea scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Arsch doesn't seem bothered though.
Fauatea throws a series of punches but Arsch moves out of range.

Arsch slips a jab and a cross from Fauatea.
Fauatea swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Im Arsch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fauatea misses with a series of wild punches.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Fauatea moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Arsch! Fauatea continues to tee off on Arsch, landing with a left and a right! Fauatea connects with a right hand that leaves Arsch sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Fauatea!
