The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Vengrio can pounce on him.
Vengrio is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Vengrio tries a head kick but it misses.
Vengrio throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Peterson.
It looks like Gary Peterson has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vengrio misses with a head kick.
Vengrio lands a big head kick that sends Peterson tumbling to the mat! Vengrio takes a step backwards and waves Peterson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Vengrio throws a head kick but Peterson moves out of range.
Peterson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Vengrio sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Vengrio cracks Peterson with a hook to the temple - Peterson is on wobbly legs here! Vengrio swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Peterson falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Vengrio wins by TKO!
