The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riviera clinches with his opponent.
Second has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Riviera is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Riviera stalling against the cage.
Riviera lands a nice knee to the body.

Riviera successfully pulls guard.
Riviera can't keep his opponent in guard - Second advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Riviera is looking to improve his position.

Second wants to work for an arm triangle but Riviera is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Second trying to pass the guard but Riviera defending well.

Second is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Riviera sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Riviera makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Second fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Riviera looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Riviera is breathing heavily.

Riviera feints and as Second raises his hands in defense, Riviera changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Riviera trying to stand up but can't free himself from Second's guard.

Second looking for a guillotine here but Riviera defends easily.

Second has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Riviera can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Riviera got a little sloppy there for a moment and Second has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Riviera has managed to get both his arms back between Second's legs - danger averted.

Second looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Second has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Riviera doesn't defend quickly enough and Second has managed to lock this one up! Can Riviera escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Second on a fantastic submission victory.
