Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Vir Blast!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bottensheller shoots in for a takedown but Blast shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bottensheller has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bottensheller there as he acknowledges the shot.
Blast stuffs the takedown.
Blast moves in looking to clinch but Bottensheller pushes him off.
Blast tries for a takedown but Bottensheller circles away easily

and Bottensheller counters with a shoot takedown. Blast fights it but they end up in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bottensheller slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Bottensheller is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Blast will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Bottensheller has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Bottensheller advances nicely into full mount.
Blast is desperately trying to improve his position but Bottensheller has a good base and remains in mount.
Bottensheller looking to control and managing it successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bottensheller lands a big shot there that rocks Blast but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Bottensheller controlling from the full mount.
Blast tries to hold on but Bottensheller postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

We're going to have a standup here because Goran Bottensheller wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Bottensheller closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bottensheller lands in his opponent's guard.
Blast not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Blast looks gassed!
Bottensheller controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Bottensheller forces his way into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bottensheller is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Bottensheller is landing with some decent strikes but Blast is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blast is working to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Goran Bottensheller has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Bottensheller.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bottensheller controls the position.
Blast should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Goran Bottensheller dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Bottensheller gets a powerful takedown and that's hurt Blast.


Blast is rocked!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Bottensheller passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Blast!
Bottensheller controlling the pace for now.
Blast is breathing heavily.
Bottensheller landing punches.
Blast is still in real trouble! Can Bottensheller finish him?

Bottensheller lands a big elbow - Blast is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Blast is forced to tap out!
