The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nestle fails with the takedown

and Martin counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Martin.
Nestle looking to hit a scissor sweep but Martin is one step ahead there.
Nestle keeping moving, preventing Martin from controlling successfully.
Martin trying to stand up but can't free himself from Nestle's guard.

Nestle throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Martin wants to pass the guard but Nestle is keeping the position.
Nestle wants to sweep here but Martin controlling him for the moment.

Martin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Martin has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Nestle had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Martin defends it easily.
Martin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nestle on the ground.
Martin wants to stand but Nestle has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Martin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Nestle is looking to sinch up a triangle. Martin throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Nestle's body to avoid the submission. Nestle has instead reached around Martin's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Nestle arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
