Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanley Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hall comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Hell's Bells. Ramirez has chosen Take it in Blood -- Nas as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ramirez.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Hall is looking to land body kicks.
Ramirez shoots for a takedown but Hall saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hall slips a jab and a cross from Ramirez.
Hall cracks Ramirez with a right hand to the side of the head.
Hall shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Ramirez lands a nice hook to Hall's body. Hall takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Hall clobbers Ramirez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Ramirez shoots in looking for a takedown. Hall tries to sprawl out of it but Ramirez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sam Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hanley Ramirez.
Ramirez throws out a loose jab but Hall uses good head movement to avoid it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hall smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Ramirez misses with a low kick.

Hall comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Ramirez misses with the body kick
and Hall connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Ramirez throws a head kick that Hall semi-blocks.
Hall looks to throw the jab but Ramirez is out of range.
Hall throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hall moves out of range of the body kick.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hall moves in looking to clinch but Ramirez pushes him off.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sam Hall.
