Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daniel One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilfred Apae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

One feints and as Apae raises his hands in defense, One changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

One drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Apae manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now One has Apae in his guard.

One seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.


Apae tests One's chin there with a solid looking shot.

One shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Apae but Apae pushes him off and we're back to square one.
One avoids a punch combination nicely.
Apae stuffs the takedown.

No luck with that takedown attempt from One.

One gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

One tries for a takedown but Apae sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Oh One is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Apae looks to land a combination but One avoids it well.

One looks up at the clock. Bad move! Apae lands a right hand from hell, dropping One. Apae pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
