Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Venom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zachariah Jabari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Venom comes to the cage accompanied by Orbital Smasher. Jabari has chosen Run this town as his entrance music. Zachariah Jabari will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Venom closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Venom slips a jab and a cross from Jabari.
Jabari connects with a body shot that sends Venom's belly button to the back.
Jabari throws a right hand that Venom ducks under and follows up with a left that Venom also avoids with ease.
Jabari scores with the left hand. Venom knows he should have avoided that one.
Venom throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jabari's waist but Jabari gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Venom off to one side.

Zachariah Jabari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Venom is breathing heavily.
Jabari wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Venom seems to have got his legs back now.

Jabari really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Venom. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Venom seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Charlie Venom.

Venom tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jabari swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Venom shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Venom takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Jabari bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Venom's head backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Venom has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Jabari throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Venom stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Venom takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jabari cracks Venom with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Venom tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Jabari pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Venom is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
