These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herrmann shoots in for a takedown but Correa shows good takedown defense.
Herrmann fails in his attempt to clinch.
Herrmann takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Siggi Herrmann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Herrmann tries to clinch there but Correa circles away.
Herrmann changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Correa tries to avoid it but Herrmann manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Correa to the ground. Correa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Herrmann is looking to clinch but Correa is avoiding it.
Correa scores with a jab. Herrmann acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

It looks like Siggi Herrmann has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A chopping leg kick lands by Correa.
Herrmann looks gassed!
Correa connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Herrmann! He's out on his feet! Correa rushes in and drops Herrmann with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
