Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kirill Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brady Baird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brady Baird will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stein is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Baird's half guard.
Baird works his way to full guard. Good work.
Baird wants to sweep here but Stein controlling him for the moment.
Stein has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Baird is proving hard to escape from.

Baird is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Stein wants to stand and escape but instead Baird has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Baird gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

and Stein counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Baird manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Stein tries to reverse the position but Baird maintains control.
Baird looking to ground and pound but Stein is blocking nicely.
Baird cracks Stein with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Baird throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Baird working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Stein might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Stein is looking to improve his position but Baird isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
