Barnes comes to the cage accompanied by Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Ares has chosen Run This Town as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes throws a hook but Ares avoids it easily.
Ares blocks a low kick nicely.
Barnes looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ares throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Barnes tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Ares checks a leg kick.
Ares missing with a left hand there. Barnes was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ares misses with a hook.
Ares clobbers Barnes with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Clifton Barnes has been cut.
Ares misses with a wild body shot.
Ares circles away from the clinch attempt
so Ares counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Barnes striking off his back but it's not causing Ares any problems.

Ares thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Barnes's head.
Ares winds up and cracks Barnes with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Barnes tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Ares lands with a punch from half guard.

Ares wants to take a breather but Barnes is having none of it.
