The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
post closes the distance looking to clinch

and Striker counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Striker passes to full mount!
post is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Striker stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Striker throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. post tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Striker is in post's guard.

and Striker counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Striker counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Striker trying to control but post is working from the bottom.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Striker is standing up over post. post looks to escape but Striker dives into side control.
post is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Striker has just dragged him back down to the mat.
post takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Striker has hold of post's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! post tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Striker cranks the arm and post screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from post, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
