The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green throws a one two combo.
Brainson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Green sprawls well initially but Brainson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Brainson is working for a submission of some sort.
Brainson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Brainson lands a nice short elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brainson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Green is just riding it out for now. Brainson eventually gives up the hold.
Brainson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
