Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vin Blade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and First Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boy has chosen New York as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vin Blade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, First Boy!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Boy, as that shot connected.
Good standup being displayed there by Boy as he connects with a hook.


It looks like Vin Blade has been cut.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Boy enables Blade to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Boy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Blade has gone for a leg lock! Boy slips out almost immediately though and dives into Blade's guard.
Boy looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Blade is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Blade is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Boy defends well.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Blade has an active guard here but Boy has managed to pass into half guard.
Blade gets back to full guard.

Blade had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Boy defends it easily.

Blade is looking for a triangle here but Boy uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Blade wants to control but Boy postures up.
Blade is looking for a sweep.
Blade is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Blade is looking for a sweep. Boy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Blade wants to stand back up but Boy manages to pass into side control.
Boy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blade. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Blade is breathing heavily.
Blade is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Boy is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Blade is looking to improve his position but Boy isn't that keen on the idea.
Blade is working hard here to advance position.
Blade is trying to reverse the position but instead Boy has taken his back - oops!
Boy is not going to allow Blade to sit and survive in this position.
Boy slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Blade tries to roll but Boy sticks to his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Boy keeps control of the position easily here as Blade tries to buck him off.
You can see the frustration on Blade's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

First Boy dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Vin Blade's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Boy lands a nice looking body shot.
Boy looks to land a combination but Blade avoids it well.
Blade looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Boy pushes Blade up against the cage in a clinch.
Boy lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Blade drops down looking for an ankle pick but Boy pulls his leg out and moves away.

Blade moves into range and clinches up with Boy.
A short left from Boy.
Boy lands a left hand that snaps the head of Blade backwards.
Boy lands a nice uppercut.
Boy lands with a left to the head.
Boy lands with a right to the head.
Boy lands a hook to the side of the head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Boy throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Blades head.
Boy lands a hook that snaps the head of Blade backwards.
Boy lands with a left to the head.

Boy drops Blade onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Blade is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!


Blade is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boy creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Blade with a big uppercut! Blade tries to clinch up but Boy pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Blade to the mat! Blade covers up and Boy unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). First Boy!
