Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Papi Lon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and roger mallao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mallao tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Lon counters with a nice uppercut.
mallao lands a nice hook to Lon's body. Lon takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Lon is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in mallao's half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Lon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. mallao avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

mallao really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Papi Lon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
