Huerte has chosen Master of Puppets as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ama cracks Huerte with a right hand to the side of the head.

Ama moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Huerte goes down! Can Ama finish him!?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ama postures up and lands a big shot to Huerte's brow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ama postures up in Huerte's guard and throws a big left but Huerte blocks it.

Ama drops Huerte with a big left hand and mounts him. Huerte is in big trouble!
Ama is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Ama lands a big shot there that rocks Huerte but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Huerte takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Huerte takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Ama's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
