Palvivaara closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Jones is trying to buck Palvivaara off.

Palvivaara lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Jones down.

Jones uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Palvivaara.

and Jones counters with a right hand to the body.
An inside leg kick from Jones misses.
Jones lands a really nice looking cross but Palvivaara seems unphased.
Jones lands with an overhand left.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Jones comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jones paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Jones throws a series of punches but Palvivaara avoids them all with ease.
Jones lands with an overhand left.
Jones fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Palvivaara falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
