Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksander Pavlyuchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chauncey Peppertooth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pavlyuchenko tries to move into range but Peppertooth moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Pavlyuchenko slips a jab and a cross from Peppertooth.
Chauncey Peppertooth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peppertooth slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Pavlyuchenko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Peppertooth.

Peppertooth darts in and clinches Pavlyuchenko up against the cage.
Peppertooth throws an elbow that misses.
Pavlyuchenko tries a body shot but Peppertooth blocks it.
Pavlyuchenko tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Peppertooth smiles and moves away.

Peppertooth sizes up Pavlyuchenko with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Peppertooth lunges at Pavlyuchenko with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pavlyuchenko's hand.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pavlyuchenko is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Peppertooth is pressed up against the cage. Pavlyuchenko has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Peppertooth down to the mat. Peppertooth avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Pavlyuchenko is breathing heavily.
Peppertooth throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chauncey Peppertooth is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Peppertooth counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Pavlyuchenko needs to keep his hands up - Peppertooth had a free shot at his head there.

Peppertooth fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Peppertooth lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Peppertooth lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Peppertooth lands a jab to the nose.

Pavlyuchenko is rocked!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Pavlyuchenko. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A jab lands there for Peppertooth.
Oh Pavlyuchenko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Peppertooth is looking to slow Pavlyuchenko down with leg kicks.

Peppertooth feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Pavlyuchenko sprawling to the canvas! Pavlyuchenko rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Peppertooth finish him?!
Peppertooth throws an overhand right that drops Pavlyuchenko like a sack of potatoes! Peppertooth dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
