The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzgibbon looks to score with a jab to the body but Escalante is just out of range.
Fitzgibbon connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Pedro Ivan Escalante has been cut.
Fitzgibbon shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Escalante eats them both and turns towards Fitzgibbon to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Fitzgibbon misses with a jab, cross combination.
Escalante lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fitzgibbon circles away quickly and effectively.
Escalante throws a right and a left that Fitzgibbon avoids nicely.
