PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Aguiar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Furstenfeld (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Furstenfeld has chosen Say It - Blue October as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Lou da Vinci and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aguiar moves into the clinch successfully.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Furstenfeld has eaten all the pies!

Aguiar is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Furstenfeld can't fight it off and eventually Aguiar manages to take the fight to the floor. Furstenfeld looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Aguiar tries to free his leg and advance position but Furstenfeld is retaining full guard.

Furstenfeld has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Aguiar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Aguiar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Furstenfeld swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Furstenfeld is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Furstenfeld is working an open guard so Aguiar takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Aguiar has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Furstenfeld's face.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Aguiar cracks Furstenfeld with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Aguiar looking to secure an arm triangle but Furstenfeld defends it well.
Aguiar is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Furstenfeld goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Aguiar!
