The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kohl paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Da Silva counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Da Silva gets caught flat footed, as Kohl shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kohl throws a strike but Da Silva rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Kohl is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Da Silva passes Kohl's left leg - he's now in half guard.
