The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Struker throws a nice looking combination but Machida bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Struker works the jab nicely.
Struker looks to clinch
and Machida counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Tommy Struker has been cut.

Struker lands a big head kick that sends Machida tumbling to the mat! Struker takes a step backwards and waves Machida back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Machida is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Struker fails in his attempt to clinch.
Oh Machida is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Machida misses with a few strikes there.
Machida seems to have got his legs back now.
Struker tries to bum rush Machida with a series of wild strikes but Machida uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Struker throws a left and a right that both miss
and Machida counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Struker falls off balance throwing a combination
and Machida counters with a two punch combo.

Struker is rocked!
Struker throws a leg kick which misses Machida's front leg but catches the back leg as Machida tries to avoid it.
Struker tries to clinch
and Machida counters with a left to the body.
Struker looks to land a left hand but Machida moved out of range nicely.
Struker throws a poor cross that misses
and Machida counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Struker to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Machida!
