PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre The Giant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boy has chosen Masta Ace - Take a walk as his entrance music. Big Boy told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Giant throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Boy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Boy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from The Giant.
Boy throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A punch combination from Boy misses.
Boy lands a front kick.
The Giant is breathing heavily.
The Giant doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Boy counters with a leg kick.
Boy lands with a thumping leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boy lands a nice leg kick that just misses The Giant's sensitive parts.
The Giant on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Boy. Boy obviously looking to wear him down.
The Giant avoids the head kick by Boy.
The Giant misses with a left hand
and Boy counters with a nice low kick that buckles The Giant's knee momentarily.
Boy lands with a thumping leg kick.
Boy feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to The Giant's calf.

That's one minute gone in the round.
An inside leg kick lands from Boy.
That kick from Boy tenderised The Giant's leg. The Giant is trying to keep his angry face on.
The Giant is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Boy fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt The Giant.
A punch combination from Boy misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Boy.
Boy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but The Giant was well out of range. Poor timing from Boy.
Boy lands a right hook to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Boy.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boy moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

A head kick lands from Boy that sends The Giant to the canvas. The Giant tries to scramble back to his feet but Boy brings him back down into side control.

It looks like Andre The Giant has been cut.
The Giant is trying to improve his position.

Boy decides to take the fight back to the feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and The Giant has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Boy lands a head kick!

The Giant is rocked!
The Giant chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Boy can pounce on him.
Oh The Giant is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boy misses with a series of wild punches.
Look low, kick high! Boy uses the oldest trick in the book to send The Giant tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Boy is absolutely delighted - when The Giant wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
