Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, MIrko Filipovic!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Filipovic throws a head kick but Liddell moves out of range.
Filipovic tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Liddell counters with a two punch combo.
Filipovic shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Liddell but Liddell pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Liddell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Filipovic counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Liddell scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Filipovic doesn't seem bothered though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Filipovic tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Liddell counters with a three punch combo that has Filipovic backing up. Filipovic nods at Liddell to acknowledge the strikes.
Filipovic looks gassed!
Filipovic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A nice combination there by Liddell.
It looks like MIrko Filipovic has been cut.
Liddell throws a combination. Filipovic tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Liddell lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Filipovic falls backwards - clearly groggy! Liddell dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chuck Liddell!
