The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slavsky lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Tony Montana has been cut.
Slavsky throws a sloppy head kick and Montana moves out of range easily.
Slavsky walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Ivan Slavsky has been cut.
Montana has a takedown stuffed.
No joy there for Montana, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Montana shoots for a takedown but Slavsky saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Slavsky throws a head kick that Montana semi-blocks.
The fight stays on the outside here - Montana looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Slavsky misses with a jab, cross combination.
Slavsky will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Montana tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Slavsky is able to avoid easily.
Slavsky lets loose with a powerful body kick. Montana will feel that in the morning.
Montana wants to clinch up but Slavsky keeps it at a distance.
Slavsky throws a head kick but Montana moves out of range.
Montana shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slavsky but Slavsky pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Slavsky throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Montana lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Montana tries to score a power double leg takedown but Slavsky sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Montana somewhat.
A looping hook to the body misses from Slavsky. Montana does a little dance to reset his feet.
Slavsky keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Slavsky misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Montana closes the distance and clinches up with Slavsky, looking for a takedown. Montana pushes Slavsky against the cage but Slavsky circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Montana throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Slavsky.

Montana shoots in but Slavsky avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Montana takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Slavsky throws a front kick that sends Montana stumbling back into the cage.

Slavsky scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Montana doesn't seem bothered though.

Ivan Slavsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Slavsky fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Montana has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Slavsky lands a head kick. Montana smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Montana chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Slavsky can pounce on him.
Montana misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Slavsky lands a high kick!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Montana. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Slavsky is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Montana hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
