Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Midhaz Zoulam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magnus Ubiistia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Midhaz Zoulam had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Midhaz Zoulam looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ubiistia lands with a straight right. Zoulam didn't see that one coming.
Ubiistia throws a right and a left that Zoulam avoids nicely.
Magnus Ubiistia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ubiistia jabs Zoulam to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Ubiistia stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ubiistia wants it to stay on the feet.
Ubiistia throws a poor cross that misses

and Zoulam counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Ubiistia wants to get back to his feet but Zoulam is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Zoulam wants to stand but Ubiistia is controlling his posture from full guard.
Ubiistia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zoulam. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Zoulam is breathing heavily.

Zoulam is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ubiistia is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ubiistia has escaped and now he's on top!

Zoulam looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Zoulam wants to stand and escape but Ubiistia is having none of it.
Zoulam is looking to sweep but instead, Ubiistia has passed into half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Ubiistia swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Zoulam counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Zoulam slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Zoulam is trying to get an arm triangle but Ubiistia is defending well.

Ubiistia is wriggling around trying to escape but Zoulam has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Ubiistia taps out and Zoulam picks up the big win! Great work there by Zoulam!
