The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dark swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Roland counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Jebidiah Dark has been cut.
Dark misses with a shot to the body
letting Roland counter with a right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters circle momentarily. Dark darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Roland avoids the body shot from Dark.
Dark lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Roland at a distance.
Dark looks to land a left hand but Roland moved out of range nicely.

Roland lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dark circles away quickly and effectively.
Roland smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Dark swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Dark is breathing heavily.
Roland shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dark sprawls well. Dark wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Roland gets slowly back to his feet.

Jebidiah Dark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dark keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dark connects with a nice looking jab.

Dark throws out a loose jab but Roland uses good head movement to avoid it.
Roland ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Roland throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Roland swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dark. Roland does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dark looks to score with a jab to the body but Roland is just out of range.
Dark has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dark there as he acknowledges the shot.

Jebidiah Dark's cut is getting worse.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Roland fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
