Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bud Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spencer comes to the cage accompanied by Banana Joe Theme. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bud Spencer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrew Brooks!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Spencer counters with a straight right hand.
Spencer throws a quick inside leg kick.
Brooks throws a right hand that misses
letting Spencer counter with a right hand.


It looks like Andrew Brooks has been cut.
Brooks rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Spencer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Spencer looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Spencer cracks Brooks with a solid left hand.
Spencer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Spencer is working Brooks over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Brooks has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Spencer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Spencer postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Brooks looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Spencer is in close to Brooks's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Brooks is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Spencer works over Brooks with some ground and pound from guard.

Brooks is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Spencer distracts Brooks with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Spencer loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Spencer chips away with some ground and pound.
Spencer trying to control the position from guard on top but Brooks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Brooks working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Spencer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Spencer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Spencer tries to free his leg and advance position but Brooks is retaining full guard.
Spencer engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Spencer seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Spencer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brooks is keeping the position for now.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Brooks looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Spencer puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Brooks is pressing down on Spencer's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Spencer is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Spencer wants to control from the top but Brooks keeps moving.

Brooks can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Spencer controls the pace.

Brooks has his foot on Spencer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Spencer works his way back into a safe position though.

Brooks is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Spencer jumps into side control!

Brooks sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Spencer is controlling the pace.
Spencer is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Spencer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Spencer controlling the position easily from mount.
Brooks wants to control but Spencer is having none of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Spencer pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bud Spencer dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Andrew Brooks's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!


Brooks throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Spencer connects with a jab.


Brooks is rocked!


That has opened up Andrew Brooks's cut even more.
Spencer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brooks moves away.
Brooks swings widly with a right hand

and Spencer counters with a takedown into side control.
Spencer lands an elbow.
Brooks is still in real trouble! Can Spencer finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Spencer cracks Brooks with a big elbow.
Brooks stops Spencer from passing to mount.
Spencer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brooks keeps working.
Brooks tries to improve position but can't.
Brooks seems to have recovered his senses.
Brooks wants to control but Spencer postures up.
Spencer controlling the position.
Brooks sneaks back into half guard.
Bud Spencer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Brooks is breathing heavily.

The cut above Andrew Brooks's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Still in half guard, Spencer seems content to control.

Spencer keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Spencer working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Brooks makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Brooks.
Spencer passes Brooks's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Spencer is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Andrew Brooks's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Andrew Brooks's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
