The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skeet moves in looking to clinch but Rogerio Silva pushes him off.
Skeet takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Rogerio Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Skeet.

Skeet's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rogerio Silva connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Skeet scrambles back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Skeet has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Skeet there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rogerio Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Skeet pinned against the cage. Skeet gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Skeet is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Rogerio Silva locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Skeet is forced to tap!
