Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Derek Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bart Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rose's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Headstrong - Trapt. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bart Harris!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris shoots in but no luck this time.
Rose takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Harris shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rose defends it nicely.
Rose stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rose wants it to stay on the feet.
Derek Rose has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bart Harris.
Rose stuffs the takedown attempt from Harris. Harris gets slowly back to his feet.
Rose tests Harris's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Harris misses with a combination
enabling Rose to counter with a crisp jab.
Rose throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Harris counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Harris tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Rose counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A punch combination from Rose misses.
Rose moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Harris fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rose misses with a wild combination.
Harris tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rose swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Harris shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rose as he jumps to the side.
Harris shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Rose counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A jab from Rose does it's job there.
Rose ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Harris moves away.
Rose scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Rose swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Harris counters by moving into the clinch.
Rose scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Rose wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Rose.

Harris is rocked!
Harris is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rose pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Harris is still on wobbly legs! Can Rose finish him?
Harris looks gassed!
A nice left hand lands by Rose.
Harris trying to stall but Rose improves his position.

Rose breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rose circles away from the clinch attempt
and Rose counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Harris misses with a takedown attempt - Rose sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Harris seems to have recovered his senses.
Rose lands a right hook to the body.
Rose cracks Harris with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rose lands with a hook. Harris tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Rose bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Rose connects with a single shot there.
Derek Rose seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
and Rose counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Harris! He's just covering up as Rose starts to tee off till referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Derek Rose!
