Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Whisky Dan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Palle Runkqvist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palle Runkqvist is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Palle Runkqvist!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Runkqvist shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dan but Dan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A left and a right from Dan both land. Nice combination.
Dan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Runkqvist throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dan's waist but Dan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Runkqvist off to one side.
Dan misses with a takedown
and Runkqvist counters with a single leg into guard. Dan didn't expect that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Runkqvist must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Dan had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Runkqvist is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dan Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Runkqvist's back instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dan gets his hands free as Runkqvist looks to control.
Dan working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Runkqvist is doing well to defend. Dan seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Runkqvist is forced to tap and this one is over!
