Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willie Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron Platt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connor comes to the cage accompanied by I'm Shipping Up To Boston. Cameron Platt has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Platt has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Connor.
Connor misses with a head kick.

Platt decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Platt is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Connor defends it well.
Connor is staying active underneath Platt, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Platt tries to pass the half guard into mount. Connor knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Platt is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Connor doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Platt.
Connor is in trouble now - Platt has advanced to mount!

Connor is squirming around, avoiding Platt's attempts to control the action.

Connor defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Platt.

Platt is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Connor defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Platt uses his free foot to push down on Connor's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Connor.

Platt moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Connor has worked his arm free - good work by Connor!

Platt is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Connor knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
