The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
taylor throws a head kick that misses.
taylor shoots in for a takedown but Punch shows good takedown defense.
taylor shoots in but Punch avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Punch is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Punch cracks taylor with an open hand slap.
Punch avoids the head kick by taylor.
Punch misses with a straight right.

Punch's jab looks to have found its range, popping taylor under the eye.

taylor shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for taylor. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

taylor walks straight into a right hand from Punch - that's dropped him! Punch jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save taylor from any more punishment! taylor complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
