PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mega Fredriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brick Hardmeat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fredriksson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, DMX - Megatron Gon' Give It To Ya. Brick Hardmeat told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Fredriksson finds it's target.
Fredriksson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hardmeat manages to avoid it.
Fredriksson lands a right hook to the body.
Hardmeat slips under a jab.
Fredriksson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fredriksson wants it to stay on the feet.
Fredriksson connects with a right hand. Hardmeat shakes it off.

It looks like Brick Hardmeat has been cut.

Hardmeat slips a jab from Fredriksson.
Fredriksson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Fredriksson tries to bum rush Hardmeat with a series of wild strikes but Hardmeat uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fredriksson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Hardmeat scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Fredriksson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Fredriksson wants to sweep but no luck.

Fredriksson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hardmeat gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fredriksson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hardmeat manages to get himself to full guard.
Fredriksson lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Oooooh!!! Fredriksson has knocked Hardmeat down with a huge combo! Fredriksson steps away and waves a wobbly Hardmeat back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Hardmeat shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Fredriksson connects with a right that clearly hurt Hardmeat. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Fredriksson proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Hardmeat collapses and taps out under the pressure!
