Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charles Bronson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn MacArthur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Bronson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but MacArthur wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Bronson wants to get back to his feet but MacArthur drags him back down.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bronson parries the strikes from MacArthur easily there. MacArthur is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bronson to escape.

Bronson tries to bench press MacArthur off him but MacArthur keeps the position.

MacArthur throwing strikes but Bronson manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

MacArthur might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bronson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Shawn MacArthur was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Bronson stuns MacArthur with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Bronson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bronson in particular looking to stall.

MacArthur tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Bronson counters with a stiff right hand.
MacArthur takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bronson gets in close and tags MacArthur with a short punch that almost sends MacArthur to the mat! Oh MacArthur is in big trouble! He turns his back on Bronson, trying to create some distance but Bronson rushes him, striking wildly and MacArthur goes down! The referee tackles Bronson into the cage to end the fight! Bronson is one violent man!
