Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andre Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pad Digger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Alvarez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to It's A Fight. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Digger.
Alvarez stalks Digger and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Digger's face. Digger staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Pad Digger has been cut.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Alvarez wants to get back to striking at distance but Digger won't allow it.
Digger has Alvarez pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Alvarez manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Alvarez wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Digger has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Alvarez avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Andre Alvarez will probably get the nod.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Alvarez, as that shot connected.
Digger shoots in looking for a takedown. Alvarez tries to sprawl out of it but Digger keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Alvarez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Digger feints and as Alvarez raises his hands in defense, Digger changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Digger is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Alvarez looks calm but he's in trouble here. Digger gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Alvarez is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Digger lets go of the hold and Alvarez can pop his arm back in it's socket.
