Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Tammipuomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Tammipuomi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tammipuomi tries a head kick but it misses.

Tammipuomi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Gracie gets full guard.

Tammipuomi drops back looking for a leg! Gracie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gracie manages to kick Tammipuomi off! Tammipuomi jumps back into Gracie's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gracie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gracie cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Gracie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tammipuomi is looking to escape.

so Tammipuomi counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Gracie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Gracie thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Tammipuomi drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gracie looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gracie looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gracie!

Tammipuomi is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tammipuomi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Gracie has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Tammipuomi to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Gracie is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Tammipuomi pulls down on the head and he's put Gracie to sleep! This one is all over!
