Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kimmo Kivipaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taavi Liisteri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kivipaa comes to the cage accompanied by Kivipää. Liisteri has chosen Solid Base - I like it as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liisteri misses with a takedown attempt
and Kivipaa counters with a stiff right hand.
Liisteri shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

Kivipaa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Liisteri moves away.

Kivipaa throws a jab but it's blocked by Liisteri.
Kivipaa is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Liisteri tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Kivipaa works on Liisteri's body with a couple of short punches.
Liisteri is trying desperately to land a takedown but Kivipaa is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Liisteri.
Liisteri tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kivipaa smiles and moves away.
Kivipaa connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Liisteri's hands.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Liisteri ducks right into an uppercut from Kivipaa.
Liisteri seems to have recovered his senses.
Kivipaa throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Liisteri misses with a takedown attempt
and Kivipaa makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kivipaa stalks Liisteri and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Liisteri's face. Liisteri staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Taavi Liisteri has been cut.
A punch combination from Kivipaa misses.
Liisteri takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Kivipaa has managed to clinch.

A short uppercut from Kivipaa.
Liisteri tries to pull guard but Kivipaa won't allow it.
Kivipaa scores with a shot to the side of Liisteri's head.

Kivipaa lands with a short shot to the head.

Kivipaa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Liisteri avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kivipaa throws a nice inside leg kick.

Kivipaa drives through and clinches with Liisteri against the cage.
Liisteri jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kivipaa walks away with a smile on his face. Liisteri gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kivipaa works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

and Kivipaa counters with a series of strikes. Liisteri will be more careful next time no doubt.

Kivipaa feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Liisteri collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
