The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruger chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Monsterson can pounce on him.
Monsterson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Monsterson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kruger.
Kruger looks to clinch
and Monsterson counters with a left to the body.
Kruger wants to clinch but Monsterson slips to the side

Monsterson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Monsterson has picked Kruger up - he's going for a ride! Monsterson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Monsterson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kruger defend it? Monsterson steps over the head and cranks it - Kruger is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Monsterson!
