The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy drops his hands momentarily and Overeem takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Guy tries for a takedown but Overeem circles away easily
and Overeem counters with a slapping leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Overeem buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Guy is breathing heavily.
Overeem lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Guy is looking to close the distance but Overeem sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Guy crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Guy is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
