The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donnaire fails with the takedown
letting Xu counter with a right hand.

and Xu counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Donnaire moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Donnaire throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Xu.

Donnaire rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Xu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Xu postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Donnaire looks a forlorn figure.
