The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mishenko uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Johnson has time to react.
Johnson connects with a single shot there.
Johnson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Mishenko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Johnson.
Mishenko rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Johnson counters with a nice uppercut.
Mishenko falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Johnson counter with a right hand.

It looks like Boris Mishenko has been cut.
Johnson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mishenko tries to clinch but Johnson moves away
and Mishenko takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Johnson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mishenko manages to avoid it.
Mishenko lands a jab-cross combination.
A left lands for Johnson.
Johnson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mishenko looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

That has opened up Boris Mishenko's cut even more.

Johnson cracks Mishenko with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Mishenko looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Johnson finish him?
Johnson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Johnson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Johnson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Johnson misses with a double jab.
Johnson cracks a nice hook into Mishenko's ribs.
Johnson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Mishenko.
Boris Mishenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mishenko uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Johnson.
Mishenko looks to clinch
and Johnson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A left lands for Johnson.

The cut above Boris Mishenko's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Mishenko moves out of range of the strikes.
Johnson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Johnson scores with a nice head shot.
Mishenko steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Johnson.

Boris Mishenko's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
