Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Beasty Kanne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DropKick Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanne misses the shot to the body.

Kanne drops Murphy with a beautiful combination! Murphy stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kanne is looking for the KO!

Murphy is rocked!

It looks like DropKick Murphy has been cut.
Kanne looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kanne swings for the body but Murphy moves out of range.
Kanne throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Murphy counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Murphy wants to get back to his feet.

DropKick Murphy has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Kanne misses the body punch
and Murphy counters with a stiff right hand.
Kanne avoids the head kick by Murphy.

Kanne lands a right hook to the body.
Kanne throws a lazy right hand but Murphy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Murphy has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Kanne jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kanne misses with a body shot.
Kanne thuds a left hand into Murphy's body.
Murphy looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kanne throws a poor cross that misses
and Murphy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kanne looks to score with a jab to the body but Murphy is just out of range.
Kanne is looking to wear down Murphy with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Kanne dips to his left and cracks Murphy with an uppercut!
Kanne scores with a jab to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Kanne. Those never looked like landing.
Kanne misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Murphy.
Murphy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kanne.
Beasty Kanne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Murphy darts in trying to clinch
and Kanne counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Kanne thows a body shot but no joy.
Murphy ducks under a wild hook from Kanne.
Kanne connects with a jab.
Murphy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kanne moves away.
Murphy avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kanne misses with a series of wild punches.
Kanne misses with an uppercut.
Kanne lands a nice hook to Murphy's body. Murphy takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kanne cracks Murphy with a right hand to the side of the head.
Murphy is still on wobbly legs! Can Kanne finish him?
Kanne misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Murphy.
Murphy seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Murphy dodges the punch combination from Kanne.

Kanne lands a left and a right that send Murphy crashing to the mat, dazed. Kanne thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Murphy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Murphy walks straight into a right hand from Kanne - that's dropped him! Kanne jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Murphy from any more punishment! Murphy complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
